Position
Summary:
We are seeking an Estimator/Project Manager for our facility located in Vass, NC.
The position is an important part of our management team and will provide project cost estimation, client customer service, and account management support.
Summary of
Responsibilities:
The Estimator/Project Manager reports directly to the General Manager.
The position is responsible for the areas of estimating, sales, customer service, account management, as well as shipping and fulfillment.
In addition, the incumbent is a leader that adheres to the highest form of integrity, who administers clear goals, communication, and support.
The incumbent must focus on both client and team interests and needs and manage client job flow while providing an inspiring work environment for all team members.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and well-organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner.
Review, analyze and understand job drawings and specifications.
Provide clear, detailed quality take-off documents.
Deal effectively with internal and external customer requests in a responsive and timely manner.
Engineer the best production plan for every project.
Evaluate all methods available for producing a job and provides quotes based on the most economical method.
Work with vendors to obtain quotes for outsourced products.
Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Recommend ways to increase cost savings, efficiency, and profitability.
Develop business relationships with prospect and current customers.
Requirements Previous experience as an estimator preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or work experience equivalent preferred.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Excellent project management skills with an ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-orientated problem solver with devotion to accuracy and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent negotiation skills with a high level of drive, humility & people skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills for fostering and maintaining business relationships & inspiring staff.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Experience with project management software is preferred.
