Position Overview:
As a Production Associate at Carolina Crate & Pallet, you will play a vital role in the production process, working with wood to create high-quality crates and pallets.
This position requires prior experience in carpentry, framing, or working with rough lumber.
In addition, you will be responsible for reading blueprints and ensuring that finished products meet our quality control standards.
Key
Responsibilities:
Work with precision and attention to detail to construct wooden crates and pallets according to specifications.
Operate various woodworking tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate product assembly.
Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Identify and address any issues or defects in the production process.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in carpentry, framing, or working with rough lumber is required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
Proficiency in operating woodworking tools and machinery.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
Willingness to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
